Il Ghiozzo leopardo, Thorogobius ephippiatus, è un pesce schivo e timido ed è considerata una specie rara da incontrare per i subacquei. Noi lo troviamo abbastanza spesso nei fondali di coralligeno che variano da 38 ai 42 metri di profondità come in questo caso.
